How to Get Form 61 for PANCard?

Form 61 is required to be submitted in case a person entering a financial transaction and does not have a PAN number.

What is Form 61?

Form 61 is furnished when a person (not a company or firm) does not have a PAN number. Form 61 serves as a declaration and contains all the details of the person who is entering into the transaction as well as the amount involved.

Form 61 is used when the person entering into a financial transaction has only agricultural income. The person should not be in receipt of any other income chargeable to income tax. Form 61 should be submitted with statement containing particulars of declaration received in Form No 60.

Where to Download Form 61?

Form 61 can be downloaded from https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/Pages/default.aspx.

Here, you need to click on Forms/Downloads. A drop down list will be seen where you need to select Income Tax Forms. Following page will open.


At the bottom navigate through the pages to reach form 61.

Click on PDF to Download the form https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/forms/income-tax%20rules/103120000000007945.pdf

or click on fillable form to fill it online.
